Nora Wilhelm is a passionate social entrepreneur, systems change advocate, and artist dedicated to fostering paradigm shifts toward a more regenerative and just future. Her journey as a changemaker began at the age of 15, when she became deeply attuned to global challenges such as ecosystem collapse, inequity and genocides. This early sense of purpose led her to work with local as well as international NGOs, spending over 10 years working to advance causes such as youth empowerment, democracy and active citizenship.
In 2017, she co-founded collaboratio helvetica, an initiative designed to catalyse systems change in Switzerland, with a strong focus on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through this work, she has collaborated with countless stakeholders across sectors, facilitated innovation labs, and supported the emergence of the next generation of systems leaders.
Today, through Parayma, Nora supports changeworkers in bringing their unique contribution to shifting paradigms: offering mentorship, practical tools, and guidance rooted in lived experience. Through different programmes and support offerings, she helps those who are unsure of their contribution to find clarity, those who seek to deepen their impact to develop systems change strategies, and those engaged in systems-level work to cope with the challenges inherent to it. She is also the founder of the well • change atelier, a sanctuary where art-based practices intertwine with tools for connection, creativity, and collective renewal especially for those who give deeply to others.
Nora holds a BA in International Affairs from the University of St. Gallen and an MSt in Social Innovation from the University of Cambridge. She is currently pursuing a part-time PhD, continuing her exploration of transformative pathways for a more regenerative and just world.
Her contributions to social change have received international recognition. She has been named a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, UNESCO Young Leader, and Dalai Lama Fellow, among others. She has shared stages with Nobel laureates like Muhammad Yunus and delivered keynotes at events such as TEDx and the Conference of Swiss Development Cooperation.
Rooted in the belief that systemic transformation is both necessary and possible, Nora continues to support individuals and organisations in reimagining how we live, lead, and care for the world and for ourselves.
